Nzoia Sugar coach Bernard Mwalala is satisfied with his team's performance in the Kenyan Premier League so far this season and has thanked his players for their effort.

Nzoia, that currently sits 6th in the Kenyan Premier League started the season badly, losing its first four leagues matches and pressure was mounting on the former Kenya international.

The team has managed to turn its season around and Mwalala has credited the players for the turn-around.

Worked Hard

"We started the season badly, the pressure was on us to deliver but I always believed that we would turn our season around, we are not in a bad position but I believe we can get better. Credit to my players, they worked so hard and I thank them for that, we want to finish the first leg strongly then plan for the second leg, " he said.

Nzoia  plays Chemelil Sugar next at home.
