Mathare United signs City Stars keeper
Mathare United has announced the capture of Emmanuel Otieno from Nairobi City Stars on a free transfer.
He becomes the first signing of the club during the mid-season transfer window. The 19-year-old custodian joins on a free transfer from Nairobi City Stars and has put pen to paper on a four-year deal.
He comes in as a replacement for Wycliffe Kasaya who left the club and joined Sofapaka following the expiry of his contract. The new keeper will battle with first-choice keeper Robert Mboya who rejoined Mathare from Kariobangi Sharks in January.
The Nairobi based side now has three keepers, youngster Job Ochieng, Robert Mboya and the new arrival Emmanuel Otieno.
