Rwandan defender Jemus Tubane will not be joining Kenyan Premier League side, KCB after all, the club has confirmed.

The AS Kigali central defender was expected to join the Frank Ouna coached side this window after agreeing on personal terms but the deal is now off.

KCB team manager Bramwell Simiyu has confirmed that the defender will not be joining the side due to a 'technicality'.

"Tubane is not joining us. There was some technicality in his transfer and he will not be part of our team," he said.

Simiyu however exuded confidence in the players signed by his side. The signed players include four foreigners from Tanzania, Rwanda and Burundi.

"We have signed 15 players so far and I think we are done with transfers, these are quality players and I believe that they will deliver. We are now focusing on preparations for the new season," he added.

KCB returned to the top flight at the end of 2018 season after three seasons in the second tier.
