Trabzonspor midfielder Eddy Onazi has admitted his eagerness to return to football action after being dealt with another blow of injury woes.
However, despite being excited to start playing again, Onazi admitted that he will not rush the process until he is certain of his full recovery.
According to reports, the Nigeria international is said to be achieving rapid recovery from the Achilles tendon tear that required surgery in December 2018, but the former SS Lazio of Italy star stressed that he will not hop back to action until he is 100% fit.
Onazi added that he is happy with the progress he is making in his stages of rehabilitation, which he says has been boosted by support from club mates, officials and fans.
“I don’t want to rush things but hopefully very soon I should be back doing what I know how to do best," he said.
“Everything is going well. The rehabilitation is going on well and I think I’m recovering ahead of schedule.”
