Peter Onen is delighted after his BUL FC scrapped a last minute win over Express FC on Sunday in a Uganda Premier League match played at the FUFA Technical Centre in Njeru.
Muhindo Kambale scored the all-important goal in the dying minutes of the added time to earn the win.
Onen admitted that the Red eagles posed a tough challenge and that the game could have gone either way but delighted that it went his.
“It was a tough game and could have gone either way. Both teams played well and really wanted to win. Am proud of my boys because we needed this win very much to push us into the zones that we want to be,” Onen said after the match.
The win lifts BUL into the top four with 30 points from 18 outings.
The Jinja-based side will return to action on Thursday when they host Bukedea in the Uganda Cup.
