Chelsea manager Maurizio Sarri was not impressed after his side were hammered 6-0 by Manchester City as he walked straight down to the tunnel "snubbing" Pep Guardiola of a handshake after the final whistle.
Manchester City were ruthless as they went 4-0 up in the opening 25 minutes with Sergio Aguero grabbing his brace before he completed his hat-trick in the 56th minute from the penalty spot. The result has cranked up pressure on Maurizio Sarri’s job with various media reporting that his job is on the line after three consecutive away loses at the hands of Bournemouth, Arsenal and now City.
Speaking in a post-match press conference after the City defeat, Sarri revealed that he did not snub shaking the hand of Guardiola, “No I didn’t see him at that moment. I will see him afterwards, it was by chance. I wanted to go the dressing room.”
