Bright Stars will go head to head against URA FC in a Uganda Cup Round of 16 clash on Friday, February 15 at the Mandela National Stadium.

Bright Stars have an opportunity to put a halt to their miserable winless streak and aim for a hard-fought victory in the Uganda Cup competition.

While the Matugga based side has failed to win on ten successive times in the league, they will hope to be lucky in the competition against a URA side that also hasn’t won in their last two games.

However, the Tax Collectors have looked like a totally transformed side in the second half of the league picking up seven points out of a possible 12.

The said fixture also grants Bright Stars an opportunity to avenge the league defeat suffered at the hands of URA back in December 2018.

Shafik Kagimu and Vitalis Tabu who returned to the team in the previous encounter with Onduparaka will reportedly be a force to be reckoned with for the hosts.

For the visitors, Nelson Senkatuka and Brian Kayanja will hopefully be back in top form if they are to eliminate Sam Ssimbwa’s charges from the competition.

Kickoff is set for 16H00.
