The title race in Denmark's Superleague is hotting up and we expect favourites FC Copenhagen to win away from home later today. With title rivals Midtjylland only playing tomorrow, Copenhagen can go six points clear at the top.
What are we expecting from the match and what bets are we placing on betPawa?
FC Copenhagen leads the pack with 50 points after 21 games, while FC Midtjylland is chasing three points behind. Brøndby in third place is a massive 16 points behind FC Midtjylland. Copenhagen opened up 2019 in style by thrashing OB 6-1 without star players Dame N’Doye and Viktor Fischer. Robert Skov notched a hat trick, his third in four games. Skov has 21 goals in 21 matches now and has scored more direct free kicks (7) than any other player in Europe's top leagues this season.
Now his team visit Randers, who opened 2019 by beating AaB 3-0 away from home, a scoreline that perhaps flattered them in a game that looked tight. Copenhagen's head to head record with Randers is excellent, they've won the last four meetings, scoring 13 goals and conceding only one in the process.
Randers defender Jonas Bager lost a tooth in the game against AaB but will be ready to play. FC Copenhagen will still be without Fischer and N’Doye, while the game might come a bit too early for newcomers Guillermo Varela and Robert Mudrazija.
