Dan Sserunukma is aware of the threat posed by Bright Stars as Vipers plan to host them on Friday afternoon at Kitende.

The Stars, who were once flying high on the table, have gone five league matches without conceding defeat but have won only two matches on the way.

Sserunkuma, reigning top scorer, has urged his team to go for early goals if they are to get something out of the unpredictable Kawempe outfit.

“We know they defend very well but we are at home and will try to create many chances. When we create enough chances, then we shall score goals,” the striker said before stressing that, “It is important that we score several goals and early in time before they settle down. We have to work hard and score early in the game.”

The Venoms are currently second on the table with 38 points, seven behind KCCA FC who played to a 1-all draw against Police on Thursday at Lugogo.
