Ex AFC Leopards keeper calls for suitors after leaving Zoo
The shot-stopper left the Kericho based club in January following the expiry of his contract and is ready to represent a team in Kenya’s top two divisions should a good offer come his way.
“I am currently a free agent and is ready to represent any team in the KPL or the National Super League (NSL) should a right offer come my way but KPL would be great. I believe KPL is where I belong but the competition in the NSL has grown too and would be glad to join a competitive side in the league,” Kiptoo told Futaa.
The keeper who thanked Zoo further stated that his next move will largely be determined by the amount of playing time he will be offered this after being sidelined with a muscle tear prior to joining Zoo.
“I had a muscle tear prior to joining Zoo but recovered in time to represent them in the top flight something I don’t take for granted. In the period I was there they treated me well and I feel I gave my best whenever I was called upon. All I can do is wish them all the best this season.
“I’m looking for a team where I’ll have more playing time because that’s what every player needs for progress,” Kiptoo added.
Apart from AFC leopards, Kiptoo has previously featured for Ushuru FC, Muhoroni Youth and Chemelil Sugar FC.
