The left-back has been in terrific form for the Gunners this season and provided an assist for Pierre-Emerick Aubamneyang’s second goal against Rennes on Thursday night as Unai Emery’s men overturned a 3-1 first leg loss against Rennes to storm into the quarter-finals of the Europa League.
“I don’t want to talk too much about myself because I think at the moment as a team we are in good form,” the Bosnian told Arsenal.com when asked about his form.
We are playing well and we are hoping we can continue it after the international break as well.
“I don’t think the international break has come at the wrong time. I think it is something we are used to, occasionally you have to go and represent your national team. Sometimes it can actually be quite good to go and see your national team colleagues as well. To be honest, I don’t think it will take us out of our rhythm.”
