Liverpool midfielder Georginio Wijnaldum believes their Sunday league clash against relegation threated Fulham will be a tougher test compared to their midweek win against Bayern Munich.

Jurgen Klopp’s charges will be back to domestic action after their Champions League exploits in Germany and the Dutchman maintains the Reds will have to remain switched on against their second-bottom opponents.

"I think it will be even harder at Fulham," Wijnaldum told the Independent. "They are struggling, fighting to survive and that is always difficult to play against, those teams.

"Fulham will make it as difficult as possible and we have to be focused."

A win for Liverpool would take them back on top of the Premier League table with Manchester City involved in FA Cup action.
