Despite rumors of him leaving in the summer transfer window, Manchester United forward Alexis Sanchez has been lauded by Romelu Lukaku as he believes that he could yet reemerge of the Premier League's best players.
Since making the switch from Arsenal to United in the January transfer window last year, Sanchez has struggled to replicate the form he once showed at the Emirates Stadium and at Barcelona. The Chilean has bagged just three goals in 29 appearances and has struggled for game time due to injuries and being out of form. Sanchez is currently injured and is facing a race against time to be fit to face his former employers, Barcelona in the second leg of the Champions League quarterfinals.
In an interview, Lukaku tipped Sanchez to one of the best players in the English Premier League, "He is a very positive person and he has a lot of respect in the club and for me. The most important thing is that he is the happiest he can be and that us as players must give him more confidence because with the qualities that he has he can be one of the best players in the league.
"The way he trains every day, he shows us his quality and for me I hope that he can help us finish in the top four and go on in the Champions League."
