Ramsey signed a pre-contract with Juventus in the January transfer window after entering the final six months of his contract with Arsenal. The player and the club failed to agree on a new deal after months of negotiations.  According to reports, the 26-year-old is to pocket a lump sum after he agreed on a four-year contract with a £400,000 weekly wage before tax.

Speaking in a press conference after the win over Napoli, Emery was asked if he would if he was impressed with Ramsey's performance, "Awesome. Awesome. His performance in this moment for us, he wants to do something important with us, to help us. He feels a lot for Arsenal. When he is with our supporters he gives us more than all he can to do the best performance, not individually, but in the collective."

When asked whether he will miss Ramsey, Emery replied"I want to enjoy this moment with him. I want to do something important with him. His focus now is very much thinking on Arsenal only."
