The Liverpool boss is relishing the possibility of facing the duo terming them as Liverpool legends. The Reds advanced to the semi-finals of the competition after beating Porto 6-1 on aggregate on Wednesday night. On the other hand, Barcelona qualified after beating Premier League side Manchester United 4-0 on aggregate.
"Honestly, the only thing I’m thinking about is Cardiff on Sunday, but I can answer the question because it was clear since yesterday that if we win it we will play these boys," said Klopp.
On facing Coutinho and Suarez
"For them [Coutinho and Suarez], for these two boys, it’s very special. For us, it’s special. They are both Liverpool legends, that’s brilliant. But I think it will not be a friendly game so we have to fight, we have to work, they will do it as well.
"It’s so wonderful that you play with Liverpool against Barcelona in a European semi-final, that itself is a wonderful message and now let’s try to do the best and we’ll see what happens."
Suarez left Liverpool before Jurgen Klopp joined Liverpool while Coutinho moved to Nou Camp in January 2018, after spending two years playing under the former Borussia Dortmund boss.
