Hazard, who has been the Blues' standout player, came on as a substitute in the first leg a week ago and helped the team register a 1-0 victory.
The Belgian international has had a stellar season, scoring 19 goals and notching 12 assists so far.
"I think currently he's the best player in the world, and I'd love for him to play (Thursday's return leg). Because if he plays, that means Chelsea take us seriously," he said as quoted by BBC.
He added: "And if we win, we would beat the best Chelsea, and we would be respected. So we hope the best players will be here tomorrow."
Chelsea only need to avoid defeat in the match to sail through to the semis and would be buoyed by the fact that they are unbeaten in their last 14 games in the Europa League.
