Chelsea defender Antonio Rudiger is set to undergo knee surgery on Tuesday night with the Germany international set to miss the remainder of the season.
Rudiger picked a knock last week on Monday but managed to feature against Manchester United with the defender being forced off with as his side settled for a 1-1 draw. Rudiger will head to Italy for an operation on his injured meniscus and will miss Chelsea's remaining matches this season.
The Blues have two Premier League matches remaining before taking on Eintracht Frankfurt in the Europa League two-legged semi-finals.
