Chemelil Sugar FC head coach Francis Baraza says his side lost to Champions after suffering a 2-0 defeat to Kenyan Premier League leaders Gor Mahia on Wednesday 8th.

Kenneth Muguna and Samuel Onyango were on the scoresheet as K'Ogalo maintained a seven-point lead at the top of the table. Baraza admitted there is an improvement in his squad and despite the loss, his side played well.

"I would say we lost to champions, I call Gor Mahia champions," said Baraza after the match.

"My boys played well and the first game we conceded through a set piece. But I can say there is an improvement when you look at how our opponents have played. We could not sit back, we just played an open game comparing to how Gor have been playing with consistency in their previous matches," he added.

The Millers, who are 14th on the log with 29 points will be away to Mbaraki Sports Club to take on Bandari on May 14th while the Green Army host Sofapaka at Moi Stadium, Kisumu on May 12th.
