The German international has endured a tough season with The Gunners, often becoming a scapegoat for a lot of their defensive problems at the business end of the season.
Tuttosport: AC Milan are interested in a new name to strengthen their defence: Mustafi. The player failed to convince the technical staff at #AFC and the EL final could be his last memory of the club. A deal could be done for €20m.https://t.co/LJPhvg4FZn

Mustafi, now 27, was a member of Germany's World Cup-winning squad in 2014 but his stock has fallen considerably since then. The centre back, also deployed at right-back this season, was an unused substitute in Arsenal's Europa League semifinal victory over Valencia last night, and his involvement in the final seems to be in the balance. As does his Arsenal future.
Ivan Gazidis, once the CEO of Arsenal and current Chief Executive at AC Milan, is the man rumoured to be brokering a possible deal. We'll keep an eye on this story.
