Wolverhampton Wanderers are reportedly looking to bring CSKA Sofia's Edwin Gyasi to the Premier League in the summer transfer window.
CSKA Sofia are set to sell the Ghana international for what is deemed a bargain fee according to Football Ghana as Wolves continue to be on the quest to get him onboard.
The 27-year-old has been linked with what is said to be a shock move since January when Sports World Ghana reported that they failed to seal a deal with a £700,000 bid.
The same publication reported in late April that Wolves are still in talks about a potential for Gyasi whom they believe will be a fair addition to the club who have recruited some quality players in the recent years.
The five-time Ghana international has been in superb form since he moved to Bulgaria in 2018, scoring five goals and providing eight assists to fire Sofia into the title race.
But, according to Football Ghana, Gyasi was criticised by supporters after his listless performance in a goalless draw against league leaders Ludogorets last time out.
Sofia are now willing to sell the forward, having seemingly been unimpressed by his attitude if not his efficiency in front of goal.
Gyasi could be available for as little as £860,000 – which could make him a risk worth taking for Wolves.
