The Football club owners Association of Nigeria has described as shocking and sad, the death of one of the top coaches in the Nigeria professional Football League (NPFL) Solomon Ogbeide of Lobi stars.
Coach Ogbeide who guided Lobi Stars to emerge champions of the 2017/2018 NPFL season and led the Benue state club to the group stage of the CAF champions league, was reported to have died after he slumped as a result of low blood pressure.
Club owners Association said the late soccer tactician who had previously handled other top clubs like Sunshine and Warri Wolves amongst others, would be missed for his brilliance, commitment, ability and courage in the discharge of his duties as a seasoned coach.
The Association in a statement jointly signed by its chairman Barr. Isaac Danladi and the executive secretary Alloy Chukwuemeka commiserated with the management, players and officials of Lobi stars FC, the Nigeria Football coaches Association, as well as his immediate family and friends.
Club owners prayed for the repose of his soul and for God to console his family and give them the fortitude to bear his loss.
