Hassan Oktay has paraded what he thinks is his best Gor Mahia side that will help him clinch the 2018/19 Kenyan Premier League title when they take on Vihiga United on Wednesday at the Kenyatta Stadium-Machakos.
The squad is majorly comprised of players who did duty in their weekend derby win over arch-rivals AFC Leopards with Joash Onyango the only absentee; his place taken by Charles Momanyi.
Philemon Otieno and youngster Geoffrey Ochieng will man the right and left back respectively with the never tiring Samuel Onyango also included in the starting team.
Keeper Boniface Oluoch continues to act as an understudy for Fredrick Odhiambo with strikers Francis Mustafa and Erisa Ssekisambu hoping they can help from the bench.
The duo of Jacques Tuyisenge and Nicholas Kipkurui will once again be tasked with troubling the Vihiga defence with Francis Kahata and Kenneth Muguna pulling the strings in midfield.
Gor Mahia Starting XI: Fredrick Odhiambo (GK), Philemon Otieno, Geoffrey Ochieng, Charles Momanyi, Haron Shakava (Cpt), Ernest Wendo, Francis Kahata, Kenneth Muguna, Samuel Onyango, Nicholas Kipkirui, Jacques Tuyisenge
Subs: Boniface Oluoch (GK), Joachim Oluoch, Bernard Ondiek, Bernard Omondi, Francis Mustafa, Erisa Ssekisambu
