AFCON 2019: Ahmed Musa, Abdullahi excused from Super Eagles camp

Super Eagles duo of Ahmed Musa and Shehu Abdullahi have been excused from the team's camp for two days.

The Musa and Abdullahi will now join on Wednesday after the Muslim Sallah celebrations.

Super Eagles camp opened in Asaba on Sunday ahead of the AFCON in Egypt with skipper Mikel Obi, Leon Balogun, Moses Simon and Jamilu Collins among the early birds.

Honeymooning Wilfred Ndidi and Kenneth Omeruo are due in on Monday, along with five other call-ups, officials said.

The team will train twice on Tuesday.

On Saturday, the Eagles host fellow 2019 AFCON qualifiers Zimbabwe in a warm-up game in Asaba, before flying out to Egypt the next day.
