Premier League side Liverpool will be among the top seeds for the Champions League group stage next season after lifting the trophy on Saturday 1st.
The Reds beat Tottenham 2-0 thanks to Mohamed Salah and Divock Origi’s strike in both halves. This means Liverpool, who won the trophy for the sixth time will be in Pot 1 for the draw alongside Chelsea who won the Europa League and Manchester City. Despite finishing second, Spurs are the only Premier League side not in Pot 1 meaning they will be placed in Pot 2.
