Middlesbrough's English defender Dael Fry has emerged as a possible target for Liverpool in the summer transfer window according to Hartlepool Mail.
Sunday Express reported back in November 2018 that Liverpool were interested in signing the youngster despite not being short of talent at the back.
Fry has made 54 league appearances for the Boro, the first one when he was 17-years-old in a goalless draw to Preston End back in August 2015.
The 21-year featured 39 times across all competitions for Middlesbrough during the 2018/19 season with the 34 of them being in the Championship.
However, in terms of experience, a move to Anfield would be a massive step in his career as the pressure and expectations will mount with playing for the six-time European champions.
The young English defender has been tipped to have plentiful potential and needs the right manager to help him unlock it and who better than Jurgen Klopp to do just that.
Fry would also be learning from arguably the best defender in the world right now in Virgil van Dijk if he were to make the move.
