The second-leg of the CAF Champions League final pitting Esperance and Wydad Casablanca is set to be replayed.
CAF has decided to have the second leg of the final rematched with the continent’s governing body asking the Tunisians to return their medals and trophy ahead of the replay which is set to be staged at a neutral venue. The Confederation of African Football’s executive committee, meeting in Paris on the fringes of the FIFA Congress, decided on Wednesday to restage the match at a neutral ground in a decision that could spark an immediate legal challenge.
