Emerson Palmieri has played down transfer rumours linking him with a move to Juventus, insisting he is happy at Chelsea and willing to stay.
The Italian-Brazilian is thought to be keen on following Maurizio Sarri to Juventus after the Italian manager made the switch last week.
“I’m happy at Chelsea, we won the Europa League and I am calm. I didn’t receive any call, I am happy here. There is nothing to say, I am focused on Chelsea," he said as quoted by the Evening Standard.
The former Roma man joined Chelsea in January 2018 and has made a paltry 29 starts for the London-based side, having failed to displace Marcos Alonso from the side.
He, however, had a good second half of the season, where his good form coupled with poor displays from Alonso saw him get a lot of game time under Sarri.
The left-back further thanked Sarri, noting that he did a good job and was sad to see him leave especially after helping them to the Europa League win.
“It’s difficult because we had a really good season. Also because it was his first season in England, in the Premier League, it’s hard.
“I believe it was a very tiresome season for him. But we finished third in the Premier League, we won the Europa League, we reached the League Cup final.
The former Napoli coach also guided the team to a third-place finish in the Premier League, automatically booking a place in the Champions League next season.
