On Nigeria's road to the 2019 Africa Cup of Nations third place playoff, the Super Eagles have played six matches, winning four and losing two of those.
The most painful AFCON 2019 loss was the 2-1 semi final defeat to Algeria, no thanks to a powerful last minute goal by Riyad Mahrez.
An earlier 2-0 loss to debutants Madagascar saw the Super Eagles finish second in Group B, but that was after the 2013 champions have beaten Burundi 1-0 in the opener, and beating Guinea by the same score.
Nigeria went on to beat Cameroon 3-2 in the round of 16, and 2-1 quarter final victory against South Africa saw them advance to the semi final where they lost to Algeria.
