Premier League side Arsenal has reached an agreement in principle with Saint Etienne for defender William Saliba.
As reported by Sky Sports, the deal will see Saliba head back to the Ligue 1 side on loan next season. The north London side have beaten rivals Tottenham to his signature who had been in talks with the French side but never made a formal bid for the teenager.
The 19-year-old is set to join the Gunners in a reported deal worth €30 million and will sign a five-year contract. The deal will be made official once all the paperwork is finalized with Arsenal's presence in Los Angeles for the International Champions Cup preseason tournament complicating matters.
