Manchester United are already preparing for life after Paul Pogba with AS reporting that they have earmarked Lazio midfielder Sergej Milinkovic-Savic as a replacement.
Pogba has been a subject of a move away from United after expressing his interest to have a new challenge with AS reporting that the Serbian will put pen to paper on a five-year deal at Old Trafford, in a swoop estimated at around £67m.
Both AS and La Repubblica believe that Ole's primary target is Milinkovic-Savic in the event of Pogba's departure.
Although the Premier League giants are also in the process of securing the signature of Leicester's Harry Maguire, Solskjaer's priority may have to switch to bolstering his midfield should Madrid approach United with an acceptable offer for star man Pogba.
Sporting Lisbon's Bruno Fernandes and Tottenham's Christian Eriksen are also reportedly targeted for United, although it appears that Milinkovic-Savic has now edged ahead on their list of targets.
The Serbian international had previously also been linked with Serie A opponents Juventus, but whispers of a move to Manchester began to gather pace.
Milinkovic-Savic having purportedly already agreed to join United, it appears there could be further sweeping changes at Old Trafford ahead of the new season.
