England international U21 captain Jake Clarke-Salter has signed a new contract with Europa League winners Chelsea.
The young central defender is now committed to Chelsea until at least the end of the 2021/22 season, informs the Blues on their official website.
A member of England's U20 World Cup-winning squad in 2017, Clarke-Salter will spend the whole of the 2019/20 campaign on loan at Championship club Birmingham City.
Clarke-Salter joined Chelsea in 2006 and made his competitive debut for the first team against Aston Villa in the Premier League back in April 2016.
