WATCH: Anthony Knockaert's first goal for Fulham

​Brighton & Hove Albion winger Anthony Knockaert officially opened his account for new club Fulham with a stunning free-kick goal in their 1-1 draw at Oxford United on Tuesday night. 

The Seagulls midfielder who joins the Cottagers on a season-long loan was awarded a place in the starting lineup where he featured for 69 minutes before being substituted for Matt O'Riley.

The 27-year-old goes into the Championship with extensive experiences having spent three-and-a-half years at Brighton, tallying 27 goals in approximately 139 appearances.

Knockaert who also plied his trade at Leicester City was named the EFL's Championship Player of the Year back in 2017 as Albion went on to win promotion to the Premier League.

"It feels amazing to be here. It just feels great to get this done and for me to be a Fulham player," he said.

The Frenchman also reached the Premier League during his time with Leicester in 2014, spending six months with Belgian club Standard Liege before returning to England in 2016 -respectively.
