Kenyan Premier League side Chemelil FC is set to officially resume training on Monday 29th, 2019, the club head coach Francis Baraza has confirmed
After surviving relegation last season the club will be keen to reinforce ahead of the new season and will hold trials next week. Having seen a number of players leave the club during this transfer window, the Millers have already identified 15 players who are set for trials and Baraza will decide the players he retains in his squad.
“We are set to resume training officially on Monday 29th this Monday and with a number of players having left, I can’t really tell who will be coming in. The only thing we need to do now is to fight and see the players who I will get, so I think one week is enough for me to know the players I will pick,” said Baraza.
“We will have massive recruitments as we have already identified a number of players. The club has already identified 15 players and from there we will take some and mix with the players who featured last time. At the end of the season some left and I tried reaching them and told them to be training and am happy they’ve responded well,” he added.
Chemelil’s first KPL match will be away to Zoo FC on September 1, 2019, at Kericho Green Stadium.
