The official UEFA website have named Nigeria international winger Samuel Chukwueze as one of the top fifty young players to look out for in the 2019/20 season.
The website explained the reason why Chukwueze is tipped for success: ''Precocious winger with UEFA Europa League experience; the Nigeria Football Federation's young player of the year for 2017/18''.
The list also includes exciting names in the game such as Rhian Brewster (Liverpool), Alphonso Davies (Bayern Munich), Carel Eiting (Ajax Amsterdam), Gedson Fernandes (Benfica), Sean Longstaff (Newcastle) and William Saliba (Arsenal).
Chukwueze was one of the prominent players that inspired Villarreal to remain in the La Liga - he managed to five goals from approximately 26 appearances.
The 20-year-old was also part of the Super Eagles squad that won bronze at the 2019 Africa Cup of Nations - he also became the youngest to score when opened his senior account in their 2-1 win over South Africa.
