Nigerian striker Taiwo Awoniyi's service is being wanted by French club Nice.
The Liverpool striker has been on loan since joining the English Premier Club in 2015.
After a short loan spell at Royal Excel Mouscron, Awoniyi returned to Anfield for pre-season, but the presence of Divock Origi, Roberto Firmino, Sadio Mane and Mohamed Salah made him surplus to the Reds team.
French Ligue 1 club Nice are not prepared to pay £10m for Awoniyi’s services but will take the former U-17 star on loan for the 2019/20 season, a Punch report says.
Awoniyi signed a contract extension with Liverpool last season.
He has had loan spells at FSV Frankfurt (2015 - 2016), NEC (2016 - 2017), Royal Excel Mouscron (2017 - 2018), Gent (2018 - 2019) and Royal Excel Mouscron (2019).
