Tottenham have increased their stadium capacity ahead of the new English Premier League season 2019/20.
In a statement on their website, the club confirmed that they will now host 62,214 at the new stadium, up from the 62,062 that was set in April when it first opened.
"We are pleased to confirm that Haringey Council has approved our application to increase the official capacity of our new stadium to 62,214,"
"This follows a detailed review of the stadium seating bowl during the summer months in conjunction with Building Control, which has allowed us to add a small number of additional seats in the North and South stands,"
There was confusion about the capacity when the new ground officially opened for the game against Crystal Palace on April 3, with the attendance revealed as 59,215.
Last season's biggest attendance at the new stadium was 60,243 for the Champions League semi-final home leg with Ajax.
