Everton are reportedly working on convincing Kurt Zouma to come back to the club in order to bring restoration to the backline according to Royal Blue Mersey reports.
According to Daily Mail reports, Mason Holgate has been thrown into the mix with speculation rising that he could be granted the opportunity to leave the club with plentiful interest mounting.
Sheffield United, Bournemouth and Burnley have emerged as the Premier League trio that is interested in the 22-year-old's service together with Championship side West Bromwich Albion where he spent on loan.
Further reports suggest that Everton are not keen on letting go of Holgate just yet and would rather opt of a loan deal again but a fee in the range of £8 million could push Everton to make the sale.
Jonjoe Kenny was shipped out on loan to Bundesliga side Schalke 04 which means that Holgate remains as the prominent back up to Seamus Coleman.
