Derby County are targeting Jordon Ibe and Jacob Murphy

English Championship side Derby County are reportedly set to sign an additional winger before the close of the transfer window and are said to be interested in two possible players as reported by Sky Sports.

Derby are said to be targeting Jordon Ibe of Bournemouth fame and Newcastle United's Jacob Murphy - both players are reportedly available to go on loan.

However, The Rams would have to compete with Sheffield Wednesday as they are keen on Ibe and Middlesbrough who have set their target on Middlesbrough.

The reason for Derby's delay in transfers is due to the departure of manager Frank Lampard to Chelsea and having to find a replacement in which they secured Phillip Cocu.

They may be experiencing some difficulties but the positive side of it is that they kicked off their 2019/20 campaign with a win over Huddersfield Town but they will need to sign more players if they are to fight for Premier League promotion.
