Buildcon coach Tenant Chembo believes their CAF Champions League preliminary round opponents, Young Buffaloes of Eswatini are a beatable side.
Chembo feels his team gave them too much respect in the first half but did well in the second half and could have won if they took their chances.
"Overall Performance I thought the guys did well but in the first half, we went to sleep and gave them a lot of respect. I think this is a beatable team, The second half it was evident that we can do better. It's a learning curve from our players point of view, there is hope at the end of the tunnel, " he said.
"We had two or three good opportunities in the second half that we could have put away if not for selfishness so to say. We going to do it," he added.
Serbian born coach Srdan Zivojnov's contract was not renewed by the Ndola based side but Chembo believes life has to go on.
"Life has to go on, If you want to dwell on something that is not there then you will remain negative. The most important thing that came out of todays game is that the guys pushed themselves and had we taken our chances it could have brought back life into the team, " he said.
Mpendulo Dlamini scored the only goal of the game as Young Buffaloes stunned Team Kopala one-nil at Levy Mwanawasa Stadium on Saturday. The second leg is scheduled for Eswatini in two weeks time.
