Liverpool defender Dejan Lovren has been heavily linked with a move to Roma in the Serie A which could suggest that his time with Liverpool is coming to a halt.
Daily Mail reported via Corriere dello Sport that Lovren is keen for a move away to Italy as he believes that it is time to call it a day in England and seek greener pastures.
The Italian publication further reiterated that Lovren and his representatives may meet with Liverpool to discuss his wages in a way that will guarantee him a move.
The 30-year-old was not in the matchday squad against Norwich City on Friday, August 9 which fuels the exit rumours even more.
The Croatia international has been playing in England since 2013 when he was captured by Southampton from Lyon.
During his time at Anfield, Lovren has managed to make 170 appearances and netting approximately seven goals.
