Baba Rahman on the verge of permanent Chelsea exit

Ghana international Baba Rahman is reportedly in contention for a permanent move away from Chelsea before the close of the European transfer window.

Rahman initially joined Chelsea back in 2015 for a deal that was in the range of 24 million pounds at the time - he only managed to play 24 games in total.

However, the Chelsea star has been dealt with injury blows while plying his national duty for the Black Stars during the 2019 Africa Cup of Nations - reports suggest he has fully recovered and back to full fitness.

Reports via Ghanasoccernet have emerged that Rahman and his representatives are pushing for a permanent exit to a team that will guarantee adequate game time.

French clubs Saint Etienne and Olympic Marseille are some of the teams that are said to be interested in the Ghanaian's services despite having two years left on his contract at Stamford Bridge.

Rahman is currently training with the loan team in Cobham and will hope to settle a deal before the close of the transfer window in September.
