The Ethiopian Women National Team landed safely in the country on Thursday 15 August 15 ahead of their friendly match against the Harambee Starlets on Saturday.
The clash which will be staged at the Kenyatta Stadium-Machakos will be used by the Starlets as part of their preparations ahead of their 2020 Olympic Qualifiers match against Malawi.
Ethiopia had the feel of the match venue on Friday with all the gate charges of the clash waived with the gates slated to be opened at 11 am.
Starlets who got a bye in the first round will have either of Gabon or Ghana in the third round should they go past Malawi; the team have had their final training ahead of the Ethiopia tie on Friday morning.
The first leg of the tie is set to be played on August 28 in Blantyre with the second leg slated for Kenya on September 1.
In their most recent encounter at the CECAFA Women Championships in Rwanda last year, the Starlets lost 1-0 to Ethiopia and will be looking forward to revenge at home as they gear up to the crucial Malawi Qualifier.
