Tusker FC head coach Robert Matano has praised departing defender Justin Omary as he restructures his side ahead of the new season.
Omary was among the players released by the brewers in the current window and the team had to come up against his team (Biashara United) earlier this week in Tanzania.
According to Matano, Biashara was getting a dedicated servant and one who he feels will help their team in the new season.
“He (Omary) was one of the most dependable players in my team and I have felt his absence but that’s life. If one player gets a good place where he feels he can play better then I can’t stand on his way.
“The work of the coach is more like that of a teacher. You teach and let them progress and that’s my pride. He is a good player having worked with him and I know he will help your team,” Matano said after their 1-0 win over Biashara.
Apart from Omary, other released by the club were goalkeeper Byrne Omondi, Bill Oporia, Nashon Alembi, David Naftali, Tom Adwar, Kevin Wafula and Noah Wafula's.
The team has already added Humphrey Mieno, Vincent Ngesa, George Odhiambo among others as the new faces in the team.
