2019 MTN/FAZ transitional league player of the season Austin Muwowo described winning the accolade as a dream come true.
The former Forest Rangers ace who is now on the books of Orlando Pirates went on to thank his former teammates and coach for the support and encouragement they gave him always.
"I feel so excited right, I did not expect this it's a great honour to get this. I want to thank God, my (former) teammates and the fans," he said.
"I dreamed about it. It's a dream come true. I want to thank my (former) coach and (former) teammates for the encouragement and pushing me," he added.
Muwowo was also named in the team of the year and was joint top goalscorer with former teammate Zikiru Adams and Napsa Stars forward Laudit Mavugo.
