Kaizer Chiefs poster boy Itumeleng Khune has suggested he is returning to Absa Premiership football this weekend.
Khune’s eight-month absence after shoulder injury is apparently well and truly behind the 32-year-old now.
While coach Ernst Middendorp confirmed two weeks ago that Khune is back and bouncing at training, the goalkeeper has taken to social media to indicate that he will be in the dressing room for SuperSport United at FNB Stadium this weekend.
Khune simply took to Twitter to post an image of his personalized gloves and with the caption ‘when combos are communicating.”

It remains to be seen if it will be Bruce Bvuma or Daniel Akpeyi who drops out of the team to take a seat in the stands come the 3 pm hour on Saturday at Soccer City.
