Tau helps Brugge to UEFA Champions League qualification

Bafana Bafana star Percy Tau created an assist to make sure Club Brugge make today’s UEFA Champions League draw list.

The former Mamelodi Sundowns forward made a substitute cameo and just minutes later hit the post before laying an assist for Emmanuel Dennis to make it 3-1 over LASK.

The result meant the Belgian giants have secured their 2019/20 UEFA Champions League pot 4 placing, and are due to draw some of Europe and world football’s greatest clubs.

Could it be FC Barcelona that Tau’s club will draw? Perhaps Liverpool? Real Madrid? Paris Saint Germain? Or maybe German heavyweights Bayern Munich? All be revealed later this evening.

According to Sport24, the Witbank-born Tau will become only the 14th Mzansi footballer to play in club football’s greatest competition.
