Cristiano Ronaldo has indicated he misses playing in the Spanish Laliga, a year since dumping Real Madrid for Italian giants Juventus.
The Portuguese international shocked many when he decided to quit the Los Blancos for the Turin-based side, bringing an end to his almost a decade stay at the capital.
Speaking during the UEFA Champions League draw in Monaco on Thursday night, Ronaldo also said he missed the rivalry he enjoyed with Lionel Messi.
"We shared the stage for 15 years, me and him (sic), I don't think that has ever happened in football, same two guys in teh same stage. We have a good relationship we've not had dinner together, yet, but I hope in the future," he said.
He added: "I miss to play in Spain, we have that battle the last 15 years which was good, he pushes me and I push him as well,"
The two, considered the best of their generation, had battles in Spain during the famous El Classico matches, and always treated the world to spectacular football.
They were nominated for the UEFA Player of the Year 2018/19 but were floored by Liverpool defender Virgil van Dijk, who took the title following an impressive campaign with the European Champions.
The debate on who is the greatest between Messi and Ronaldo has always raged on, with fans across the world having divided opinion.
