Tusker FC head coach Robert Matano has blamed lack of experience in their opening day loss at the hands of Gor Mahia.
Tusker gave a good fightback in the first half as they headed into the break with a 1-1 scoreline but Gor scored four goals in the second half something Matano pinned on his inexperienced defenders.
The coach further stated that lack of experience will be addressed in the team's next game where he hopes that midfielder Humphrey Mieno will be fit for the game.
“We conceded very easy goals and that is because of lack of concentration, lack of experience, poor marking and poor concentration in the defence. It cost us to lose the game.
“They only scored one goal from Muguna, the rest was down to our own mistakes. We have to reorganize ourselves and get the likes of Humphrey Mieno to play,” Matano said after the game.
Matano has two weeks to prepare for Mathare United in their next league game slated for the Ruaraka Grounds and with the team currently seated second from bottom, anything less than a win will be detrimental for him.
