AFC Bournemouth winger Jordon Ibe has reportedly missed out on the chance to sign with Scottish Premiership champions Celtic during the summer transfer window according to Football Insider.
Celtic were keen on boosting their attack department before the close of the window and reports revealed that they struggled to get in touch with the Bournemouth player - they had made a loan request prior to that.
Ibe was allegedly interest in making the move to Scotland which was set to give him the opportunity to garner some game time which he has been struggling with at The Cherries.
The 23-year-old now finds himself out of favour with Eddie Howe's squad as he has to compete with the likes of Ryan Fraser, Harry Wilson and David Brooks.
However, Celtic managed to secure the services of Southampton forward Mohamed Elyounoussi who will have to repay the faith of Neil Lennon after he reportedly had a dismal loan spell during his time with The Saints.
