Chemelil FC have completed the signing of former City Stars midfielder Iddi Shikanda on a one year contract.
Shikanda is hopeful that he will once again reach his form as he believes his name had gone missing when he was playing in the National Super League. The midfielder’s target is to help the Millers to finish in the top five in the Kenyan Premier League.
“I'm privileged to be where I am supposed to be in the top flight league(KPL), my name had gone missing during my tenure at NSL though it's competitive,” he said.
“My main aim is to play for Chemelil and give my best in the field and play in Europe. I am very grateful to old players who have shown interest in working with new faces and if we put our minds together Chemelil sugar FC will finish in the top five in the league.”
“I'm very familiar with the technical bench as my head coach Francis Baraza is very motivating and encouraging and always want the best out of his players.”
Shikanda featured for City Stars, Bandari FC, Muhoroni Youth and briefly at Wazito FC.
